Royal Rumble winner Edge will be announcing tonight on Raw to reveal who he’ll be facing at Wrestlemania in the main event. Will it be WWE Champion Batista or World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho?

    In his first singles match in seven months, Royal Rumble winner Edge’s hopes for a victory over Batista were spoiled due to a surprise attack by World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker. And adding insult to injury, Chris Jericho blasted The Rated-R Superstar with a Codebreaker! In his first singles match since winning Royal Rumble, Edge took on the angry Animal, Batista. At first, it looked as though Batista was simply going to walk away from the bout – much like he did in his WWE Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against CM Punk two weeks ago. However, The Ultimate Opportunist chided The Animal into staying for battle. When the match carried on, it looked like the Rumble winner had The Animal right where he wanted after a well-targeted spear. However, before The Ultimate Opportunist could capitalize, The Deadman came calling, viciously chokeslamming Edge. The assault was in retaliation for being speared by Edge last week. Next, Chris Jericho stunned Edge with a brutal Codebreaker. And, this wasn’t the first time the two former tag team champions came face-to-face during the night. In honor of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, WWE.com presents its all-Superstar and Diva Winter Olympics Team. From the all-star men’s curling team of John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, to women’s speed skating standouts Gail Kim and Eve, find out which Superstars and Divas we think would take home the gold in this year’s Winter Games.  Christian, Edge, Chris Jericho, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Kane; Canada Historically, Canada has dominated ice hockey at the Winter Games, and WWE’s all-Superstar team would be no exception. Made up of all the current Canadians on the roster, plus Kane (who hails from parts unknown), the Superstars from The Great White North would score in their native country.
   With the 2010 Royal Rumble winner Edge joining the broadcast table, Chris Jericho pinned The Undertaker in an earth-shattering No Disqualification Match. After the action stretched outside the ring, The Phenom suddenly leveled the nearby Rated-R Superstar with a big boot. The Deadman then went on to execute the Last Ride on Jericho, only to be speared by the revived Ultimate Opportunist. This stunned The Demon of Death Valley enough for “the best in the world at what he does” to finish him off with the Codebreaker. |
